Aida is a cultural organisation that has been active since 1983, first as an association and since 1996 as a foundation. Created by a group of artists and theatre professionals, Fondazione Aida is recognised by the Ministry of Culture for theatre activities and by the Ministry of Education as a refresher centre for teachers. It is also recognised by the Veneto Region as a professional training body for the performing arts sector. The Foundation’s activities are aimed at all age groups and include the production of shows and theatre seasons – as well as for schools and families – educational workshops, refresher and training courses for operators in the sector, as well as events, exhibitions and special initiatives. AIDA’s activities are aimed at all age groups.
The heart of our initiatives is represented by the production of shows and theatre seasons aimed at school and family audiences; we also organise cultural and musical events, conferences, exhibitions, educational workshops, refresher and training courses for sector operators and teachers who, through the theatrical medium, they want to build a new approach to teaching. We organize events, exhibitions, and special initiatives at national and international levels.
In cooperation with public and private institutions, Fondazione AIDA ets offers the public culturally relevant topics for the formation of a civic spirit, for awareness towards oneself and others, and for the sharing of social values relevant to the growth of the community.
